Extreme Test

Ensure Top-Quality Notebooks

ASUS notebooks are subjected to stringent tests that ensure each and every model is robust and

reliable. Notebooks are placed under stresses not normally seen in everyday life to ensure they

continue to deliver unparalleled performance, even in the most extreme conditions.

Spin Test

Most of the notebook covers can

be opened with one hand and

this means that the screen has to

be flexible. Spin tests are carried

out to measure how well the lid

is able to protect the notebook

by testing it with a twist on the

overall framework to an extreme

degree.

Port Test

Each port is tested to ensure

that it remains strong and solid

despite the continuous plug and

unplug actions.

Abrasive Test

Abrasive resistance test subjects

the exteriors of ASUS notebooks to

friction, making sure that the colors

and surface materials stay at prime

conditions even after extensive and

demanding use.

Fall Test

A dropped notebook shouldn’t

a series of drop tests to measure

Shock Test

Notebooks are likely to experience

shocks during shipping and day-to-

day use. This is why ASUS performs

a variety of shock tests to ensure that

each model can handle the rough and

tumble of everyday life.

Vibration Test

Vibration test puts the notebooks on multiple frequency vibrations to ensure that the frame construction outside and the inside of the notebooks

are always attached securely.

Keyboard Test

ASUS tests the keyboard to check the comfort and durability, especially on keys that are more frequently used.

High Acceleration Test

HALT test (Highly Accelerated Life

Test) tests notebooks in high speed

stimulations to simulate the movement

of a mobile notebook, with an extensive

analysis of our engineers to reduce

the problems that may occur during

transportation.

Temperature Test

Each ASUS notebook went through

many trials to be able to continue to

operate in diverse climates. One of the

tests is to stimulate an environment

of high humidity and low, and also

meticulous noise testing to help

promote a quiet and pleasant

consumers. Noise mitigation,

quiet cooling and component

seals are all put to test in this set

of trials.
