Boot Booster

Nel BIOS, Boot Booster contribuisce a ridurre il tempo di avvio di Eee PC.

Tuttavia, prima di sostituire un componente di Eee PC o di eseguire il ripristino

del sistema da un ‘unità ottica esterna, questo elemento del BIOS DEVE essere

disattivato. Per disattivare Boot Booster, rispettare la seguente procedura:

1. Avviare il sistema e premere <F2> in fase di caricamento iniziale, per

visualizzare la schermata POST. Premere di nuovo <F2> ed accedere

al BIOS.

2. Impostare Boot Booster su [Disabled] (Disattivato).

3. Premere <F10> per salvare la conﬁgurazione e riavviare Eee PC.

Se, seguendo le istruzioni indicate al punto 1 e 2, non è possibile

visualizzare la schermata di POST o accedere alla conﬁgurazione del BIOS,

riavviare il sistema e tentare più volte di premere <F2> all’avvio.

Al termine del processo di ripristino del sistema o di sostituzione dell’

hardware, ricordarsi di attivare Boot Booster.
