5-12 Chapter 5: RAID conguration
5.2.2 Adding or viewing a RAID conguration
You can add a new RAID conguration or view an existing conguration using the
View/Add Conguration
command.
Adding a new RAID conguration
To add a new RAID conguration:
1. From the
Management Menu
, select
Congure > View/Add Conguration
,
and then press <Enter>.
2. The
ARRAY SELECTION MENU
displays the available drives connected to
the SATA ports. Select the drive(s) you want to include in the RAID set, then
press <Space>. When selected, the drive indicator changes from
READY
to
ONLIN A[X]-[Y]
, where X is the array number, and Y is the drive number.
The information of the selected hard disk drive displays at the bottom of the
screen.
3. Follow step 3 to 12 of section
5.2.1 Creating a RAID set: Using Easy
Conguration
to add a new RAID set.

Rebuild
Check Consistency
View/Add to The Existing Conguration
Conguration Menu
