The items in this menu allow you to set or change the congurations for the SATA
devices installed in the system. Select an item then press <Enter> if you wish to
congure the item.
SATA Conguration
OnChip SATA Channel [Enabled]
SATA Port1-Port4 [IDE]
SATA Port5-Port6 [IDE]

OnChip SATA Channel [Enabled]
Enables or disables the onboard channel SATA port. Conguration options:
[Disabled] [Enabled]
SATA Port1 – Port4 [IDE]
Congures SATA 1/2/3/4. Conguration options: [IDE] [RAID] [AHCI]
SATA Port5 – Port6 [IDE]
Congures SATA 5/6. Conguration options: [IDE] [RAID] [AHCI]
When SATA 1/2/3/4 are congured as [IDE], SATA 5/6 can only be
congured as [IDE].
When SATA 1/2/3/4/5/6 are congured as
[AHCI], only SATA 1/2/3/4 can be
detected under OS. Ensure to install the AHCI driver, so that you can use
SATA 1/2/3/4/5/6 in AHCI mode under OS.
When SATA 1/2/3/4 are congured as
[AHCI] and SATA 5/6 are congured
as [IDE], you can access the devices on SATA 5/6 before entering OS.
