4. Select one unit of space (1U) on the

rack where you want to install the

server.

5. Adjust the outer rail length to t the

rack.

6. Position the outer rail to the 1U

space on the rack and secure both

the front end and the rear end of the

rail with two screws each.

7. Repeat step 4–6 to assemble and

attach the outer rail on the other side

of the rack. Ensure that it is level with

the previously installed rack rail.

8. Align the inner rails on the server

with the outer rails on the rack.

9. Push the server all the way into the

rack.

10. Secure the server to the rack.
