Now you are ready to configure the Router by using command line interface (CLI) commands (see below).
9.2.
Using terminal program via serial console port
A terminal can be connected directly to the Serial console port. This requires the use of a terminal emulation software
package such as Microsoft HyperTerminal. By default setting, the Router is configured to communicate at a baud rate of
9600. Any standard terminal that support baud rate of 9600 can be connected to the Router’s console port. Please
configure your serial port as:
BPS :9600
Data bits :8
Parity :None
Stop Bits :1
Flow Control :None
Following steps provide the instructions to log on to the Router via Microsoft HyperTerminal.
Select Start->Programs->Accessories->HyperTerminal
Enter a connection name and click OK
Select properly COM port and click OK
